She was reading The Power Of Focus. Her friend had bought it for her for her birthday, indicating loudly that the book had changed her life and that she wanted to share the new sense of energy and drive that the book had given her. She'd read it when she got the kids off to bed and the dishes done. She'd only manage a few pages every evening before she dozed off on the couch. Sometimes she'd dream of some of the cocepts of the book. They were nagging, repetitive dreams that annoyed her sleep. It was the night she was dreaming about the chapter " Developing Unusual Clarity" when she was awoken by the smoke, just in time to get her and the children out of the apartment.
