Merci, Merci, Merci Thank you thank you thank you !! It was this square that Prince Frederik Hendrik (of Orange, Steward of Holland and Zealand) had in mind when he had the Prinse Plein created (anno 1638) in my city, Den Haag, La Haye, The Hague !! The Prince Plein is -since 1813- called "Het Plein", which simply means the Square, after Napolean Bonaparte had called it "Place du Roi de Rome" (1811-1813). -=- It is my DEEPEST wish to see the Place des Vosges (Anno 1605 - than called Place Royal) once in my life (for real)... but this image already makes part of my wish come true !! You made me see it :) I am deeply gratefull !!! 5 stars.. and a Favo.. so I can see it every time I want to :)
