Description

This is my Valentine for my beloved, something I create every year we have been together, just for him. In truth, its just another freeform doodle which crystallized a room in my mind, the place where love is born. It seems that whenever I do not constrain pixels to flow within a static box, spirals run rampant. Perhaps we all have some sort of geometric spirit signature, a shape which expresses the esthetics of our transcendent self. If so, mine is probably the spiral, and has been as far back as I can remember. This piece led from abstract metallic spirals (painted in Painter with the metal brush plug-in layer)to Poser to Photoshop, passing through a day of research into the meaning of alchemical symbols, all tempered with daydreams and memories and fired in the cauldron of joy. Happy Valentine's Day to you! Poser, Painter, Photoshop Victoria 2, DAZ3D.com Michael 2, Daz3D.com

It turned out great. I love the back-lit aura along the arms and the light radiating from the stars. One could go mad looking for all the symbols. They are everywhere. And they are my favorite pieces among so much to choose from. Your imagination is certainly "Spiking". :) -Anton

Es sin dudas un gran trabajo Moyra!, la suma de elementos 3D y 2D, y un impresionante postwork hacen que este trabajo luzca de maravillas, las texturas tienen un gran relieve, ademas de tener una variada y vistosa gama de colores....:)

I saw this image for the first time in the latest 3D World magazine. Now that I see it in the original digital format, I amd awestruck once again by the sheer artistry of the interplay of colors, and the almost fractal-like pattern of the leaves, and the teardrop "windows" in the corners, with what I assume to be representations of the four Classical Elements. The two hands are reaching out from the two Classically "Dry" elements, and from the two classically "wet" elements, to join in the middle of a shining maelstrom of the union of those elements. This work, to me, is literally beyond compare.
