My daughter Sian on a day out to New Lanark. She got a bit fed up with the long walk up to see the waterfalls and with me snapping away at her all the while. I got the hint when, right after this picture, she said to me "What is this? New Lanark's next top model" I put the camera away! Thanks for viewing

I know what you mean, Anthony. My grandson hates having his picture taken - unless his shoes and socks are off, or unless he can run around daft ( particularly in a castle or ruin or whatever ), making lots of noise, and get himself recorded on the scrappy video mode of his dad's NISIS cheapie-do-it-all digital camera!! His best poses are the natural ones, which will never be captured, and reside only in human, not digital, memory. Young Sian does you proud, my friend. Regards, John.
