Description

The city is trying to decide whether or not to restore this old logging train trestle and declare it a historical site. I hope they do. I have a couple of more shots of this I will share along the way. I have spent many an hour sitting on this trestle, meditating and healing randomly a great loss and several heartbreaks. I'll help rebuild it. Besides, it is fun to jump off of into the river, in the summer. Have a memorable day, whatever you do.

I hope they save it as well. Our landscape is losing too much of the past to dubious 'progress.'

Perhaps an impromptu book of memories, written or photgraphed by everyone who has a memory of it, sent to the voting committee will sway the vote. Maybe it could be placed somewhere prominant after it is saved. BJ
