Toxic wandered through the huge city streets of the flying city, confident in her ability to merge unseen. She was having great fun walking around like a regular person. She had wandered into a blue place. It was looking wet, but with glass walls. It looked like she under the river, except walking, instead of swimming. She ran in and giggled looking at the fish. Then she saw them. Little fish-people! They had little fish-people here! She danced over in delighted wonder and stared with a huge smile and waved at them. They looked like a little boy and a little girl. The little girl fish-person swam up and looked at Toxic through the transparent wall. Toxic giggled with delight and said, "Do you want a cookie? I don't have a cookie. If I HAD a cookie--I'd give you one! Or do you eat crust-ten-ations? Curly bugs? I love curly bugs! We had some once! On a stick over a fire with some butter! They were GREAT! Must be hard making a fire underwater,though." Toxic broke off as she realized someone was staring at her with an incredulous look. It was a small ,brown, cute bunny girl. Toxic remarked happily, "Hey there, cute brown bunny-girl! Do you know the fishy-people? Do they like cookies? Or curly bugs?" Kella, the rabbit-derived Beastgirl, blinked in astonishment at the beautiful blonde who stared at her with such life and energy. Kella swallowed, and said, "The Mer-people can eat anything that humans can. 'Curly bugs'? What's a 'curly bug'?" Toxic explained, "They're little-bitty bugs about finger long, you get'em out of the river, gut'em, shell'em and put'em on a stick and cook'em with butter and then you eat'em! They're YUMMY! Never had curly bugs? That's really sad. You need a cookie,too. Speaking of which--where's a good place to get cookies around here? Hey--what'er those glowy thingies on your arms? They're beautiful!" Kella reeled at Toxic's rapid-fire reply and choked out, laughing, "These 'glowy things' are trackers my master has me wear to find me, and for communication with my master. A good place for cookies is 'Mea's Cookie Hut' on level 2 back toward docking bay 24. .......and you speaking of 'crayfish' or fresh-water lobsters native to most rivers?" "If they have lil nippy things, and taste good cooked, YAH! Crayfishies! I'm off to get cookies! Thanks, lil cutie-pie!"Toxic looked hungry and distracted. Toxic turned to rush off, as Kella asked, "Maam, Who are you? Have you seen my Master Obba Tkarro, or a naked woman about?" Toxic paused and rapped off happily, "I'm Toxic, NO, and not since this morning when I got sprayed. Bye! See you around!" Toxic went running off holding her arms out to her sides, and shouting, "Wheeeeeeeeee! I'm an airplane!" and giggling like a little girl out on the town. Kella stood there for a moment, and then laughed in delight. The force of that woman's effervescent joy was intoxicating. She was not like ANYONE she had ever met anywhere in the city. Kella looked over at the sad looking Mer-folk looking in Toxic's direction of departure and said quietly, "Bye,Toxic--I hope I see you again,too."
