Description

Another boat load of Apo flames, PSP and PhotoFiltre for the assemblage and framing. We had quite a scare on our way back to the ship. We saw beings on a higher hill in the distance, and debated whether to sneak past and hightail it to the ship, or stop to investigate. It was rather late, and we weren't sure what we could run into. We decided to go closer. We crept up forward to the top of the hill, and much to our relief, we found these were merely statues, representations of some civilization somewhere we thought. The statues were positioned in a sort of gate like edifice, or perhaps a viewing platform, which was raised above the top of the hill. Much to our amazement, we saw there was a volcano that was spewing flames and smoke! We had not seen it before as we were in sort of a valley, or depression in the land. And below the volcano, we noticed there were ruins, perhaps of a town destroyed by a previous eruption. We didn't go much closer as we were tired from our days explorations and wanted our dinner and sleep! Thank you all for stopping by to look at "Incantations". I so enjoyed reading all your wonderful comments. And thanks for stopping today to look at this one, and for leaving your thoughts. I will enjoy reading them!

Our approach disturbed our nights and my brain transmitted to us images of the past. Under jointly exerted attraction not a blue planet under a pseudo-sun, the geological layers, worked by contrary forces, started to be pulled about, and under the explosion of a remote supernova, the poor star twisted pain, resisted, but left, complement capsized, its entrails on the ground to discharge!

I'm watching the Titanic. Just to show you how images impact us, I swear I see the grand staircase underwater in your image. But, I still see the volcano and all the wonderful statues, the planets and orbs. Very beautiful composition, Rita. Hugs, x:)
