I posting this at 1 am here. I told her I will post this today so in case she looks she will see it.
This is the Duck Queen from a small town south of here. I at the Old School House in Washinton, Louisiana. I told her I make her world famous. They turn the school into a antique sell place on week ends.
Washinton have more antique places than any town I ever saw and it a small town.[saw a whole two story school full of antiques and at less six stores in town.] If they have 5000 people in town they doing good.
I came to Washinton for that is where the cat fish fiestival. I got there and they wanted $7 just to walk around the place. and that for each person. That do not include rides or food or parking. Parking was free and my wife looked over the fair grounds and saw no rides she wish to ride. They was all kids rides. Just the band sounded good playing Cajun Music.
So we left and as we was leaveing we ran into two Queens; one told us about some places we can eat catfish so that is where we went.
I never run into Queens but this place had them all over the place and I took photos of them. Here is one of them. She was surpires of no flash. I like nature lighting if I can get it over flash.

Ok She is VERY Cute, welcome to Renderosity Cutie ;^D. Hey Jock was there any boudant? I think that is correct spelling, but I am unsure. I love the boudant. It and gator tail my favorite Cajun food. Great shots of this Pretty lady!!

So much better to have a duck queen than duck tape. That ubiquitous item was getting old. This beauty reminds me of chairs with caned seats and rush backs. My grandmother learned how to do it in county normal school as well as drafting and art. Gluing the dowels was something my father and I had to do to keep the chairs usable.

Great shots. Too bad they wanted money just to visit a place to spend more money. Some of the street festivals around here charge admission also, some don't. They claim it is to cover the expenses of porta-johns and police. They don't reduce the admission if you promise not to pee or get into a fight though.
