Description
Nothing better then a fine source of wine.
Thanks for looking and comments are allways welcomed.
(I had a lot of difficulty to present the wine-
color and -transparency)

nice, doesn't look like the trouble stood up to a good galss of wine.

Yeah, I think the liquid could do with a little tweaking.

Nice work on the glass. Maybe adding a slight bump of dirt to the barrels would add a touch or realism to them. As for the wine, have you played with a transparency gradient tied to the depth of the liquid ? This would make the edges of the wine more transparent than the centre....just a thought.

I like this render and the way you have composed the image (a nice change from seeing a glass next to a green bottle). The problem with the wine is that its an even transparency which is not taking into account its depth (attenuation distance). This is going to vary depending on what wine you are aiming to depict. Also, have you taken into account the index of refraction for the surface of the wine compared to the IOR for where the wine is meeting the inside of the glass - may be useful to make two polygon selections with different materials for your wine.
