It's a lot to keep track of no matter how you see it. Corbels and mullions interplay in a massive expression of stone to enclose space in an inspiring lightness. But then it could just be a 2D transparency. Even with a relief that would be a different matter entirely. I think of the Turner paintings. I toy with flamina. I search wildly for the sketches of the lightning ruined steeple of Lincoln in wood that once appeared in Encyclopedia Britannica.
