Description

I uploaded this picture of a Thai monk some months ago and was never really happy with it, so I deleted it. I could never understand why it looked different when uploaded in RR, until I realised it had the wrong colour profile. Now I have rectified this, the skin tones are correct and I am a lot happier with it. He was a very shy monk and so I think I was lucky that he let me take his photo. I hope you like it.

I love this shot, and the MONK facial expression! Wow! I use to live with the MONKS in Thailand for about 5 years from my life. I was trained there "Martial Art" and i do love and respect them a lot! Went through your gallery and i really liked it.. So decided to add you to my fav+ artist list.. Winks.. I will be watching your new posts now.. Thank you for sharing your art dear.. and have a wonderful day JOE

Yes, he seems almost to be biting his lip out of shyness. And if you in turn cover one side of his face and look only at the other, each side has a completely different "feeling" about it. Maybe he was having a lot of thoughts or emotions at this moment. Stunning portrait!
