Description

Something inspired by some of my diving in Bahamas Blue Holes (Andros - Grand Bahama). Same elements as my previous image but radically different lightning and atmosphere. Bryce and DAZ studio

This looks really good but, imho, it doesn't quite look like underwater, it looks too sharp. But I could be wrong.

well in cave water i have seen it soooo clear i had to stick my fingure in to beleave it was actually there. but i have not seen blue water in caves. as blue water needs sun light to refract. but water in cave open to sunlight could be blue. but regardless of this it an awesome image!!!!

Thanks for your comments ! I can tell you the clarity of the water is as it exists in caves. The blue light comes only from the torch and reflections on the white limestone walls. There is a little blur (like a blue wall) in front of the light, even in very clear water. It's the reason we use hand light instead of front light. You can notice there is also some silt in the water who makes reflection with the backlighting. To sum up, this is very very closed to some of my cave diving photos. It's a strange world, just a people saw it. But, who cares ? The aim is to make an image to dream... In fact, I am too reallistic. I try to find a more "artistic style". The big challenge now...

Impressive! You've captured the sense of calm mystery in the underwater realm very well in this! Cool!
