Description
My very first models, without any pieces cannibalized from other objects. Special thanks to Mark Bremmer and laocoon for advice on making a cord.
The wallpaper pattern is from the merchant resource kit Texture Blue.

Thats awesome mate, especially for a first, was it modelled in Carrara, the only crit is the perfect coils just being picky, great job Aaron.

It looks awesome. My only comment would be to agree with chrispoole. The cord is just a tiny bit too perfect. Have you ever seen a cord without a slightly tangled cord. U am also pretty sure that the coiled cord didn't start being used until the 50s. This one looks like one my grandmother had circa the 1930s. BTW I just love the woodgrain.

Hey .. you guys are just jealous (giggles) about the perfection of the cord .. I'd kill to have my phone cord look that good, LOL! Currently it's a huge ball of knots. (Always good to have one phone that has it's umbilical cord intact, if the power goes out, it still works) This is an awesome render! I don't even mind the perfect cord! Giggles
