took this at Turtle Creek recently. I have never seen a "red onion" they are always purple and so goes "Okla. We have some trees here that are positively blue. This is a gorgeous tree, but I do see more purple in it than blue. It is a great capture, nevertheless.

Perhaps the person who named it was colour blind but a name is only a name. This is in beautiful full bloom and makes a great splash of colour. Great shot.
