Yes, the blue does offset the browns and orange nicely and I like the way the reflection hints that something else is going on outside of the photo. So a nice idea. Selective focus is a great idea in a shot like this, however, everything seems slightly out of focus. I'm not sure if you did it manually or relied on the auto focus, but I think it needs tweaking a little. But in any case a nice idea.
