Description

My first presentabel TG2 render I am astonished about the render time, 64 hours for a pic width of 4400 pixel. With a pentium 4 and 3 Gig RAM. Wow and it is not water. I hope you enjoy :)

Wonderful sky, golden light, terrain... 64h are not so big, if you consider the size of the render, the rays, two clouds layers, etc.

Very beautiful render, but such a shame about the render time. Unlike Olivier, I don't have the patience... neither do I have a machine with so much clout. So I will admire other people's efforts with a degree of envy.

Beautiful render. I love the ground details, high clouds and sunbeams but some of the lower clouds seem a bit, well, out of place if you know what I mean. I think they distract the eye from the rest of the image which is fantastic. This is the first time I've really looked at your work by the way. Your gallery is amazing!

LOL, Welcome to the slowest render times on Palnet Earth, but the outcome is very lovely indeed!!!! The TG2 Update is faster, I am unsure how much, but my times seem to be much better ;^)

This is a very "presentabel" render indeed! Gorgeous light and nicely detailed surface Those long rendertimes are no surprise because of the reasons Olivier mentioned. Had a render with 4 cloud layers on 800x600 that took 52 hours... And the result was far from presentable.

I'm sure they'll address the LONG render time (mine has terrible renderlenghts too) in the full version. But this is a FANTASTIC image!! I just traveled to Tucson, and this could be a photo from there. Keep it up!!

A first render, and an excellent one. The sky is just splendid ! Worth the time spent... (but 4400 pixels width was not necessary, IMHO)

What a spectacular Vista! This is a masterpiece. The surfacing and the terrain alone, are just stunning. The atmo is I think, about your finest. 64 hrs. WOW! If you're not selling this one,...ya should be. Without a doubt, a Favorite.

Though clouds are very difficult to work, you made the most of them here - what a view - gorgeous!

It is more than just presentable; it is beautiful; and, it depicts a very realistic, low sun scene. It reminds me of a southwestern sunrise somewhere in the desert. Congratulations on a wonderful, first time presentation of your Terragen 2 creation Dotthy!

You have wait for a long time to show us your first "presentable" stuff. And your effort give us a wonderful result. Splendid work, Dotthy.
