Description
Another motorsport picture. Taken at the 2004 Wales Rally GB 19 September 2004, Camera Nikon D70 with a 70~300G have a look at www.daz5008.co.uk for more...trying to decide what to do with web site if anything, might be better to post here??

wow thanks for all your positive comments, its always difficult to tell if your own work is good or just ordinary, i have always liked this image so it's nice to know other's appreciate it as well...as for settings Nikon D70 with 70~30 @250mm 1/500 f5.6 ISO 250..by the way this image was captured from the public one of the public areas thanks (with big grin on face) again

Excellent Shot!! I'm really amazed about the lack of comments on the motor sports pics. These can be very difficult to capture and make them look good, with a sense of action and speed, being in the right spot at the right time. When something is happpening at high speeds you don't get a chance to go back and do it again. You have to be ready, anticipate. If you post a pic of a dog or a cute girl just sitting there you get a zillion comments and views...these motor sports shots take skill and timing. You did a great job on this shot. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks jimken61, your comments are spot on, but the fact that you can't go back and try again is why I like sport pics it keeps you honest and stops you being lazy, you have to do it on the day. This is kind of why I'm a bit disapointed at the lack of interest in my superbike pic but thats how it goes

Just browsing your gallery, some amazing photos. I love this and I don't think anyone else has commented on how polished and shiney the car is here and for me thats what makes it and of course the obvious spray. Excellent shot.
