Description
Using oil, this is going much faster than I expected. I'm using a workshop book from Boris Vallejo, and his technique is different from what I usually do. Usually I just lay down a peachy skin tone color over the whole face, then go back after that's dried and add highlights and shadows. With Boris's technique, I put all the colors on the face at once in blocks, then blend them together. Like I said, much faster.
Now that the face is done, it shouldn't take long to do the rest of it. I'll have to wait until the "S" shield is pretty well dried, because it's hard to lay a strong color on top of wet paint.
