A try at a LotR character who's not a beautiful elven Lady - it was kind of hard for me ;)

This is a good representation of Gollum...though is eyes would be glowing with pale green, no? And painted in Photoshop? Love your work... Keep on illustrating Tolkien's world. Ever been to Epilogue.net? They've got a page dedicated to Tolkien's as seen by artists like you.. Go and have a look, and try to post your work there too.

:) I have a Epilogue page at http://adorna.epilogue.net for some time now. I think I'm even on the LotR special Gallery with these. I won't do more LotR work at the moment though. It was for a project that is done by now And I don't have the time right now.

Beautiful drawing... I love your work. I'm not sure about the eyes either, but the more I look at it, the less it bothers me.

I'm not sure if the eyes sould be pale - I had cat eyes in mind - and those are quite bright in the dark... thanks for the comments btw :)

Tolikien was always so strict when it came to Gollum's iamges.. he never seemed satisfied with the rendition of various artists BUT... I realy think he would have appreciated yours :) The eyes are fitting to me.. in the books, the main thing is their light, pale green... it is the only sign of life in him, which still speak about his misery... To me it is okay what you made as you made it :)
