Description

Made in Bryce 6...I'm not very happy with this one but wanted to post something...while in Bryce it looked better but after the render finished this is what I had...maybe will try it again at a later date. Props were freebies here at Rend but I don't remember the artists. Zoom in for detail. Thank you all for your comments on yesterday's post and please have a great Wednesday...love you all. God bless and blessed be.

Perhaps add a filter in postwork to deepen the tones, like atherize. You're getting there and this is a great composition!

Excellent... but the skulls look a little out of scale to me. I love the castle and the fog. The gate is a great touch!

I believe that the pile of skulls is something big, and with a bit more of postwork would remain better, but for example the background is nice. good!

Marley this is wonderful, you are learning Bryce in leaps and bounds, don't put yourself down, it takes time to master anything, the more you do the better you get and you are on your way! :o) Keep up the good work

Don't put down your efforts! In the future, if your not happy with an image, then don't post it! Unless.. your seeking suggestions on improvements or critical analysis. In that spirit then I might question your choice of ground terrain material. It looks a bit like astro-turf or carpeting. The castle, fence and haze are great. The skulls are ok, but they don't look grounded and their height placement gives the illusion of distance, making them look extra large. Your getting there however and just a bit more practice & patience will do wonders. Hugs from Dave :^) Ps. How's your stepmother?

My favorite parts of this artwork are the sky, the way the sky blends perfectly into the fog by the castle, and the fence texture. I have been moving the "read_me" files for free items to the same folder as the item so I can find and give credit. I also try to add "_NC" to the free items that are "non-commercial" and often name/rename the readme file and install folder to include "_by_so_and_so". Just some ideas that over time, give me more and more hints as to who provided what and under what usage rules. Where I keep the installer or zip files, I often also rename then with the _NC when needed or add "_by_so_and_so" to the file name.
