Description
This old barn which belongs to an old farmer, has been derelict for the ten years that we have lived here. It is in the field at the back of our house (a very very very fine house) and it seems such a shame that this building has not been converted into a dwelling.
As you can see, the stonework is basically sound and even the roof is not that bad. Maybe one day, it will be renervated. Cheers.

It is indeed a grand structure! I did see one like it on a show here similar to " Changing Rooms". It was a two bed cot! The transformation was incredible! One half of the roof was a skylight and the whole top floor an artists space, imagine the things you two could get up to in there! BJ

It is a beautiful old barn, Robbie. Such a landmark building. I like your moody... snow filled sky too :-) The snowflakes fell later . . . Great shot. Hugs. Wodge.

Hello! I love old buildings like this. On my old website, I had pictures of all the old farm dwellings from around our area. So many are gone now...such a shame...so much history in them. I love architecture. Do you play the guitar? Svarg from Renderosity makes wonderful music that he shares. Perhaps you do too?
