Unfortunatly even today "1984" is often misunderstood to critizise only socialism and stalinism, but the core of the book is the critique on power over people and manipulation through informnation and misinformation. Still today informational manipulation is leading to unnecessary wars with unnecessary deaths. A sacrifice by the misleaded majority to the benefit of the rich minority keeping the strings in their hands. Very nice image!

Nice image from a great book, sadly one that a lot of governments seem to have taken as a user manual instead of a warning.
