Description

Shot taken on Wednesday, we had the highest tides of the year. They are known as "Springtides". The sea was running white and wild, in a right strop!!! I have great respect for the power of the sea. I was at a safe distance when I took this shot. Not everything about the Springtime is gentle. The gales had whipped the sea into a mighty frenzy!! I was truly awesome to watch and to listen. I thank you all for comments. @Mamabobbijo... My Mama says!!! If March comes in like a Lion.. She will go out like a Lamb. By.. I hope my Mum is right.. Bitingly cold here again tonight. Oom Piet is holding on to my, swifts, my wee swallows in Africa for a spell. Until the warmth returns for them to dwell, to breed again in North Yorkshire. A great shot. We get these here too and they do so much damage to our sea wall. The sea can be so relentless and just keeps coming when it is in the mood.
