Description

Felt like a change from my normal sci-fi... Thought it was about time i practiced texturing a wall. Take Care. See Ya later. Rob. BTW there's a visual connection between the creature and sword...just wondered if anyone might spot it. :)

Thanks to everyone for looking. I guess i should do a 'How i did this' The 'Crypt' i did in Bryce, i built it whilst following a lighting tut by Rochr. The 'Keeper' creature is a combo of Bryce metaballs and some tentacles I made in C4D. The sword blade and hilt are Bryce lattice objects. The 'wisps' are Bryce lighting and an overlaid previous render. The wall texture was a freebie on a 3DWorld mag disc. I'm off now to have another bash at Wings.

Certain works of certain artists should not be commented, that is: they are out of any comparison, they are superb and marvelously well done. This is like this, what can say more. Only composition of an only style. It is they still speak that Bryce is child's toy......!!!!!! Congratulations Nano. Ps: I am anxious to see your work in the Bryce challenge.

Definitely one of your masterpieces, Rob. Lots and lots of rich details. Yes, I'm pretty sure I got the connection.

I agree with thandaluz, (and all of the above!) You are a master! This is one of my favorites! I love the sword, but I don't get the connection. Fantastic all round, but I didn't spot the sword straight away. Would it be better at a slight angle, so that it is not hidden, (albeit only slightly,) by the other verticals? Anyway WHO AM I TO SAY??!! I just know that you are brilliant!
