Description

Continued modeling of the character posted earlier. This time one of the hands. I'd just about swear one hand has more polys than the entire head. It was made from extruding and reworking an 8-sided poly at the wrist. It still looks like it needs more tweaking.

I do my hands a bit simpler. Yours looks great I don't do the loops around the knuckels if you want to do hand close ups then you will need the extra polys but for full figure shots I find little difference.

Remembering it is for the lady you might make the fingers a bit longer to play the piccolo or piano. These look like a miner's wife very much ready to bring forth another short limbed underground worker. A character can get lost in adult thought. Excuse me, if I have led off into Seven Dwarfs.

great job on the hand.. the mesh is pretty clean, a little cleaner than what I ended up with. I agree with tallpinda about making the fingers longer. You can check out my hands in my thread on terranuts.. http://www.terranuts.com/forums/showthread.php?p=81132#post81132 it's easy to go crazy with the hands
