Description

Hello all! Well, I had to give up on the ocean series for now because I ordered a reversing ring and I got it the other day. So here's the first macro that came out okay......it's literally the second picture I took with the reversing ring (it fits right on the camera body and your lens screws into it backwards). :) I'm pretty excited, but it is really hard to get a clear shot. You move the tiniest bit and everything goes blurry. *sigh* Anyway, thanks for taking a look and have a great night/day. :)

Good first macro, may I suggest a tripod, mirror lockup, and either a remote or use the timmer that will solve you movement problem and yield some truely excellent shots.

I agree with Viper but also macros gives a limited range of focus or depth of field. when shooting flowers like this you will have parts in focus and the rest will be out of range. if you can back off some the the dof will be less noticed. excellent first try and shooting with digital your errors does not cost anything which I love

OMG!!!!!!! What a shot Daniella!! I love the closeup and warm colours honey... A reversing ring eh!! Hummm.... That is interesting tho... But if you need a real advice.. Don't use these rings.. By time they will spoil your lens and might as well your camera.. If you want some real nice Macro shots with nice affordable price then i would ask you to check this LINK I tried that lens and it does the job, and if you wanna add some tube to it it will turn your MACROS into MICRO Shots Daniella..Sigh! Anyways.. I really do love the shot and waiting for your next post honey.. Have a nice weekend dear JOE

Congratulations on posting your first macro! I hear ya about the blurry. For every one flower shot you see me post, there are about 50 that I trash. Try backing up a bit and then cropping the image, instead of doing the framing with your lens. You should be able to get better focus that way. I'm hoping for a tripod for my birthday, and perhaps some better photography skills! (And maybe less wind!)

I am not always able to use my tripod for various reasons but when I do, I know I reduce the blur factor. Nice color and balance on this. Good job.
