Silly title perhaps, but standing out in the brilliant sunshine today, looking up at this Bradford Pear tree just glistening in the sun with all its beautiful tiny white flowers reaching up to the sky as if a chorus singing out for joy; it just seemed that all the world for just this one moment was working just as it should be, and the sunshine was bathing us all in a life sustaining happiness! Huh? Well, not maybe the whole world unfortunately, but at that moment it was there for me. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one who could have felt such a "silly reaction" to the simplicity of such a beautiful, natural moment. Ice cream on a hot summer afternoon. A hot cup of coffee or tea on a brisk, cool autumn morning. Your loved one scratching that spot on your back that you can't quite reach. Catching your favorite song on the radio. And looking up today at this tree bathing in the sun. Such are the special moments in life that give reason to why I carry my camera wherever I go.
