Oh, I do hate to write long bits of text about myself already, let alone short bits... Since it's half past midnight already as well, I think I'll just leave you with the pictures for now. Hope you don't mind.
BIOYou don't really have to read this. I haven't given this text much thought, I'm afraid :-)
I started to be interested in visual media in school, some ten years ago - I did a very small bit of photography back then and quite a lot of video work; we had a rather productive video filming association at school. After school, however, my interest somewhat shifted to computing, especially to digital typography and typesetting; I was sort of set back on track only as recently as early 2001 due to a friend.
It appears that my photographic work is mainly influenced by scarcity: sometimes of material or of time, sometimes even of attention, but mainly of money. Being a university student, I'm living on a low budget, and so does my photographic work and equipment. As a result, I face some interesting material constraints, such as having to resort to borrowed cameras for quite some time... Currently, I use a Canon AE-1P, still my main camera besides an ancient Zeiss-Ikon Super Ikonta III for middle format. Other equipment is rather scarce as well (photography can be so blasted expensive). The nice thing is that it keeps my photographic vision nicely to the bottom so that I can actually hope to achieve the targets I've set for myself: taking good pictures, eventually developing them myself. Now if this doesn't look like manageable goals... :-)

The composition looks a bit stiff to my taste...

While I agree with adorna, I still like seeing shots from around the world here.
