Description
At the recent Houston livestock show they had a few animals which gave birth during the 3 week long show. This calf is a jersey calf and was only 2 days old. They have a protective rail about four feet outside of the paddock fence so I was unable to get a picture withour the paddock bars in it. I thought this picture would be nice to share despite the bars. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for viewing the picture and any comments you may have. Have a beautiful day.

Like at the Houston Fat Stock show, we have a state fair and down in the barns they have cows giving birth each day (all scheduled very carefully to happen this way while the fair is going). They also have goats, sheep and pigs doing the same thing. Those babies are cute and the adults are very handsome but good heavens they do have an "ackward age" when they are just not so pretty.:-) Nice shot!
