Description
I saw a picture, by Phrankpower, of the old Victorian mansion that this model is based on in the Photography Gallery here at Rendo. I fell in love with the house, and decided to do my best at capturing its flavor. It wasn't easy. With no drawings, or dimensional data, I had to "Wing-it" using only Phrankpower's pic and a couple of others from the net. So...it's not a perfect scale-model, but I like to think that I was successful at capturing the spirit of the place. I'd like to thank Frank, and all the other photographers here for their constant source of inspiration. House modeled in Wings3D, and textured and rendered in Carrara5. Thanks for looking.

Not sure if I like the pink but the model is great. Could be used in some future renders too. I can see it being the Adams family house. I enjoyed following this WIP.

Lol, thanks for the comments. I'm the biggest fan of pink either, but the house this is based on used this color scheme. The architecture style is Italianate, and the color schemes often emulated the more unusual and brighter palettes found in Southern Europe.

Great model, but I also think you could improve the shaders for the building. Well, I'm not a fan of pink. Nevertheless great setting and lighting!
