Wow, this is an impressive image! The texture of the cloth is just plain wonderful. The colors of the eyes match wonderfully with the clothes and the whole environment. The lighting is wonderful. There's only one little thing I notice: her hair seems to be... kind of "duplicated". I mean, it's almost as if you made a copy of it and moved it a little bit. Hard to describe. Maybe this was the result of the brush you used. Anyway, overall a very good picture.

Stunning artwork!

This is a very beautiful image. Rich with detail and with excellent use of color. I think on the whole it overcomes any issues. That being said, I agree with Rutra about the hair, it appears in places to be casting shadows in the air. The front decorative front skirt panel is disconcerting. On the one hand, it seems rigid on the bordered side, whereas the cloth side, on the other hand, has drape, indicating flexibility and fluidness. The right hand with necklace adds to this. It doesn't seem as if the necklace would fall where it does (in front of the skirt, when the hand is behind the skirt), and the way the necklace falls causes confusion with judging what materials are. I'm sorry I'm probably not making sense. But if this medallion were made of tinfoil, it might hang the way that it does, but the allusion is that this is heavy metal, so to my eye, it doesn't fall or behave the way that a heavy object should.

Impressive. Great work. The cloth is great, the overall picture stunning. I have to agree with kalon amd Rutra about the hair and the cross. The hair looks strange, as if all strands were doubled or trippled. The cross would vanish behind her if it's massive. I am not sure about her eyes. They are gorgeous, but they seem to be sharper and clearer as the rest of the picture. Great if that's intended, otherwise I would smoothen them just a little bit.

Darn! You do such good work that finding SOMETHING to critisize is REALLY hard. I'm no artist, at least, not of YOUR caliber. :) I think I'll leave any crits I may have to any deficiences I can detect from Poser use. Postwork is somethbing I'm not qualified to judge. IMHO, awesome job.

This is meticulous work. Absolutely charming. Well done! Steve :o)

Fantastic...Very creative!!!*****

I like the hair, it gives a sense of motion. The character is demure yet the bright eyes give her alot of personality. The only, very small, thing I see is that if you look at her right wrist, it is partially inside her skirt.

Other than the hand this is fine work...love the colors. Maybe the hair needs a little softening.

critique group: i love what you've done with the clothes, especially the draped translucent silk on her arm. basically, all of the points that could be improved that i see have already been covered. the only thing i would add is to mention that the hair doesn't just look odd, it looks as if much less time was spent on it than everything else. that is, it looks almost out of place. also, something that might make this a bit stronger is a bit of contrast. right now, it's all reds with a touch of desaturated gold. an accent of a cooler color, like blue or green, might have given the image a bit more pop. sorry this is so brief compared to my other reviews- it's just that i need time for errands. i think this image is lovely, and i look forward to seeing more from you.

I wish I had your abilities with post work. Lovely colours. Maybe the chain on the cross should be a little straighter as if it is hanging straight down but that's all :)

Magnificent work!!! I personally think everything is perfect, then again I could never do something this fantastic!!

Beautiful work, I love your colour choices. Only quibbles for me are the hair (are you painting with a mouse?) and the brocade on the skirt - it looks too linear, I'd expect to see some wrinkles. It's a fabulous job though and I'm sure your friend will love it!

Something that troubles me is the crucifix - I understand it's an important part of the composition, just where it is placed is a little problematic. Since her hand is behind her back, the way the chain cuts across the edge of the dress makes it look a bit like a paperdoll. I can't think of an easy way to fix that without a significant adjustment of the pose, it's a heavy piece of metal and gravity is going to pull it straight down. On that note also, the chain really should be pulled very straight. The top edge of the sheer outer covering on the dress appears to be perfectly straight. A little curve on it would really be nice to see. A small nitpicky thing, there are three places on the right side of the inner dress, the satin part, where there is a sharp, square transition from dark to light. I have no idea why that's there, other than perhaps that's a polygon join. I am trying to understand what the bright things trailing down from the tree are. If they are gold chains, then it would be great if they hung a little smoother, and caught some shadow from the shaft of light coming from the left side of the image (whether that is from the front or back of the scene I can't really tell). The dress itself and the scene layout are astonishingly beautiful.

Wow!!!! You painted that dress??? It's gorgeous!

Really beautiful color scheme. Your postwork is great; I can't believe this started as BW. To me, the hair looks like a good job of hair painting. Others have mentioned the hand and the cross position. One thing that confuses me a bit is the stuff on her forehead. It seems too wispy and blurry to be something solid, but I can't figure out what might be casting a shadow there. The color tones are really what makes this image sing for me.
