Thanks guys. I see what you mean jddog, but I think it is purely coincidental. Or maybe I made it a bit too symmetrical sub-consciously? LOL. Cheers again guys.

if i exercised like this i'd break my back!!! jeezus on ice skates this is good!! i think the bit in between the eyebrows shows that its too symmetrical - easily ironed out though right??

Yeah, easily changed. I was basically trying to concentrate more on the texture and light than the actual model and used an old base mesh I had knocking about (tweaked a bit for this image).

Very photorealistic textures, I thought this was a Zbrush at first...too many polys for a complex anim ? or is this character for a game ? either way kool stuff ! ~Cheers~

Wow. Great texture and light. Did you map a photo on the model, or dit you "paint" the texture? Looks great anyway.

Not criticising your work man, cause i love ya' but it really looks like a photo superimposed onto a mesh like the old games used to do,like morrowind, and his nose is totally lopsided.

NIce work Minty and I both agree and disagree with Trepz's comment. Yes it looks liek a photo superimposed onto a mesh because that what is done to create this kind of work, but it's far more impressive than a games figure. Put this into some atmospheric lighting and it will be stunning. I like the lopsided nose, that's what gives us character.
