Description
Starting off fresh with a new gallery. Here's my first entry ...
Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. V4 brought into FaceGen Customizer (long process!!!), and then used the PhotoFit feature to morph to a photo of Elizabeth Taylor. Added the custom morph and texture to V4's face and matched it to a body texture. Took me weeks to work through the entire process!
Clothing and scenery from DAZ, with the exception of the Horus statue which is from the Renderosity marketplace, and the lighting and pose by Addy with some custom tweaks by me.
Nudity ticked just in case for the sheer dress.
EDIT: Reuploaded with a bit more ambient light. I also cropped for a closer shot, so as to leave out the dark areas on the floor. That area was receiving shadows from other elements in the scene that were off camera ... to change it would have affected the lights that were on her, which I was happy with.
So, here's the rework! LOL

this just goes to show, that when one pours in persperation and endeavor, the results do shine through. Next, show us one with Richard Burton as Mark Antony. ;=) This is a very good job, and your weeks of effort really show through! DO keep them coming. Yours truly, David P. Hoadley

The males might have to wait a bit ... the Millenium 3 figures have been a challenge to get working because the heads are heavy in polygons. FaceGen seems to do a better job with less polygons, and V4 had the right amount. For the males, I have a couple of choices ... wait for M4, or use Apollo and then model some Roman clothing. DO have lots of female ideas though. LOL

The white light comming from her lower lt side clashes with the yellowish light comming from the lt...other than that, when I opened it I new exactly who it was awsome job!

Excellent work - lighting is great. Nothing I can fault with this apart from perhaps the historical accuracy of the clothing - but then that is an issue with most Egyptian clothing packs so an artist is limited unless they want to make their own. Then again given the context of the image being a recreation from a Classic Movie - the historical accuracy of the clothing was of course also an issue with the movie - given the time it was made it is hardly surprising. But it does still remain an issue even in movies of a later era.... :) I'm sure the critique group would love to hear more about the process to import V4 into Face Gen as this opens up worlds of possibilities. Thanks for giving us something to aspire to....

Excellent image with great composition. I love the Liz Taylor look. The only problem I have is with the illumination of the floor. It is a bit too dark/black for my taste so that it looks like the vases and chair are floating in a black void. The vases and chair are well lit so the floor ought to be a bit more visible.
goldie
this is terrific morph...congrats your labor paid off ;)

Exceptional likeness to liz....... i have no "critique" only an opinion, which i feel the clothing doesn't suit her. Thats just my take.
kalon
Remarkable work customizing the figure, that is immediately recognizable as Liz. The composition is good and the lighting dramatic, but very confusing, as if things unseen, off camera perhaps are throwing shadows. For instance, her right arm is in shadow, but the chair around is lit. I don't know that it's wrong, it just catches the eye.
DCArt
I think I might rework it to add a touch of ambient light ... thanks for the comments!

Very excellent work!!

In her day, Elizabeth Taylor was breath taking. You've done well to capture her youth here. Perhaps you will endulge us with another render that perhaps brings her lovely face and brilliant eyes a bit closer to the viewer. Good job!

Excellent render

very very well done image....my only crits are.....on her right arm near her pit there is smoe shadow thats far darker than the shadow next to it. her right armband and left bracelet seem to be floatin around her arms and not touching them. the vase on the right of the image should be as dark as the background (imo) cos it detracts from the main focus of the image
Anniebel
Wow, great face morph. Technical Notes --------------- To me, considering how dark the background is, the brightness of the chair & vase look odd - plus because of this I think they distact the eye, my eye was drawn to these rather than the figure.

Well posed and a lovely picture. The only slight problem I have is where is the light actually coming from? It seems to be very low down to the left of the picture Yet it doesn't seem right to be a lamp.

FABULOUS job realizing Liz Taylor! While the edge highlighting looks very pretty, especially along the curve of the breast and the thigh, unfortunately it doesn't make sense. Where is the light coming from? I expect you have an infinite light behind the character with shadows off. How is light getting onto the bottom of her left hand or the sides of her thighs? The background is a little dim, although maybe that's what you intended. Left hand has a little bit of hover - hard to address since you want it resting against the clothing, and you don't want to clip through the clothing... maybe pull the pantaloon leg down against Liz's leg a bit with a magnet to get a tighter fit right there.
DCArt
This is all really helpful criticism. I think I'm going to start the lighting from square one and see what results I get. 8-)

Absolutly stunning! Rating 5*

Looks like her all right. Nice one. Pose is a bit stiff, but seated poses are a real PITA to pull off convincingly.
