Description

Today I say good bye to a trusted friend who served me faithfully for four and a half years..my beautiful Acura Integra...she took her last run and while she was moving down the road she started smoking...once pulled over and the hood was opened the flames were apparent...I have cried and cried over losing her...some may say this is silly but she was my baby...she's on her way to car heaven now...Goodbye my friend. Beautiful tribute regarding your everlasting love of your special automobile. It's sad that one doesn't appreciate a good ride until the car just suddenly and unexpectedly ceases to function or has a tragic misfortune. When one realizes that the last ride was really the last ride, then one wishes they could have sensed the future and perhaps appreciated the last ride a lot more. I'm sure the car was very loyal and trustworthy with never a complaint about it's getting low on gas or it's oil needing changing soon. But don't despair, I'm sure you'll always remember the good times, with the washed and waxed gleam on it's hood, as you drove down the boulevard with the envy of other drivers obvious in their stares and reactions to your luminous presence on the street. Well, fear not Marlene! I'm certain that in the next life it will be waiting for you, all a glow with excitement at the prospects of showing you the sites in the golden streets of the great beyond. Our greatest condolences for your loss and we will be keeping you in our prayers during this time of mourning and rebuilding of a life shattered by this sad and unexpected misfortune. Oh no.. you got rid of your car for catching fire?? Why??? Lots of people pay a good money to make their cars do that, and you already had it! It's called "Dynamic Autosplode".. Oh well, Integra's were cool, but it's time to move on. You seem like a.. New Beetle ( Volkswagen 2007) person to me. Just a suggestion. I am so sorry you lost your car. I must say I was a relieved I thought you had lost a friend or a family member. However I know a trusty car can be the best friend as well.......Shannon ;}
