Beautiful image, soft & delicate. Though, to paraphrase Magritte, this is not really a flower in a garden - it's a photo of a flower in a garden. Actually, it's not even that as I'm looking at it - it's phosphers or liquid crystals in a monitor mapped to a jpg compression of a photo of a flower. So it may be subject to the same ridiculous opinions as a painting in a museum. But maybe not...

Love your words here, and of course the promise of spring. At the time these words were uttered they had no Hollywood stars, no glared at VIPs, but I find the words fitting our time's "idols" of all kinds too.

LMAO! I LOOOOOVE that quote! It reminds me of my graduate school art classes, and how this one person would vary the imprints of a big red circle on a black background, and everyone would walk around oohing and ahhhing...and I just shook my head. She used a hoola-hoop and stamped it on a black canvas...for goodness sake...and this was for a Master's degree! And all I could think was, this has to be the ultimate joke. She's brilliant...while they're all standing around hmmming and saying how remarkable the negative space is, she's thinking,'Well, that was easy'...lol. But I digress, lol.Sooooo I'll give you my 'ridiculous' opinion. It's lovely. Perfectly captured and composed. I love the tinge of blue in the shadows and the warmth of the yellow that draws my eye. Beautifully done,Akemi....as always. -M :^ )
