Description
Hello ... I am new to Poser and this is my first Render. I bought Poser 7 at the beginning of this month and this is what I have rendered so far. I used the lady's face to experiment applying make up (which I have done in PSP and Adobe's Photoshop CS2) and also to practice creating hair. The only thing which was done in Poser 7 was the figure itself. Everything else I painted in Corel's Paint Shop Pro Photo XI. This is my first try at making hair as well. This image is in no way near as good as it should be; which is the reason I had second thoughts about sharing it. :) As you can see, I have a long way to go. I will keep on trying.

Hello... I purchased Poser 7 some twenty days ago. So far I have rendered only one figure, and here it is. There lots and lots of things I still do not know how to do in Poser 7. I am learning.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I hesitated (and was embarrassed) to share that render on this site (very intimidating) because, besides being new to Poser, I thought (and still think) that it is not good enough for this forum. I am glad that I did share it. You taught me that it is okay to make mistakes. :) I shall do better next time. Thank you all very much!!! Clemente

What an incredile work of art. She is stunning, pose, lighting, and painting! I can't imagine how this is your first, you must already BE an artist and this is yet another outlet for you. Bravo!!!
delbeke
Excellent work an dthe painting is fantastic! The pose, dress and expression remind of Judy Garland.

Well, I have been using Poser now for a little bit over two months and I love it. I have not been able to come up with many images because work keeps getting in the way of fun...way less than ten. But the image on this page will always be very special to me for obvious reasons. :) Thank you Tina. :) alphalioness, I faked the dress. It was not rendered with the figure. I had to paint it on the figure as post work. Thank you.... AngelSpirit, you are very kind. Thank you. M.Keyes, Thank youuuuu.... I am not an artist, though.... far from it. There is no little piece of paper which says that I am. :) I do like art. I have been involved in miniature village displaying (Department 56) as a hobbist. (Gosh! That is so diffucult to explain.) Anyway, I strive for realism in what I do (displays). I have been published four times (articles) in Village D-Lights (national-international magazine)... I do not think that this is making any sense to you... So, I shall stop now. :) I do thank you. delbeke, I can see how Judy Garland comes to mind. But if I tell you who the real inspiration was, you are going to laugh. I was going for the Angelina Jolie look. :) I even looked at a photo of the star to try to capture a resemblance. It did not work! LOL! Thank you.
