I first felt the dof field hurts the shot...then got caught in the foreground part of the flower. That is beautiful and seems to leap out toward the viewer. I would have to see it totally in focus to make a decision which I liked best. I do believe the "ordinary person looker" will take the lack of focus on the backside as a flaw but there are not really ordinary people..only different viewpoints. Then again, who knows. I personally like the effect and the image.
