Description

In my youth, when I was 9 or 10 years old, I started to reading ScienceFiction. Under my prefered SF-literature in this days was a German ScienceFiction-Series named 'Perry Rhodan', which still(!) is appearing weakly till to the current day (in the meanwhile it has reached nearly 3000 expenditures, although I don't read it anymore;). However, in that series, quiet in the beginning, the Terrans discovered an old, sandy deserted planet which name I forgot, if any (while in a quest for immortality ). There was a species living who called themselfes 'Ilts'. They have been mammals, appr. one meter high and looking like mouses, except for the tail, which was flat like those from beavers; for that they was called 'mousebeaver' by the Terrans. All of them have been beings with strong telekinetic powers and some have been telepaths or teleporters in addition, a few have had all this skills. They was funny lads, always in tendency for playing, so they have played the Terrans a lot of capers with their skills. Last week I've had suddenly they in my mind again, don't know why  and so I deceided to build their planet - and here it is, the planet of the Ilts! Terrain I exported from Mojoplanet 'Canyonshores' and combined it with a GeoControl-generated one with lot of dunes - also in GeoControl, where I eroded and filtered it to become like in my imagination. I really like that terrain, so probably there will come more. Rendertime was 4hrs 9mins, postwork ~45 mins. DL-size is 1920x1200 like always. Hope you like it. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

Spectacular red landscape. Beautifully done. I really don't care for the planet effect because it doesn't blend in well.
