Description

Allude: For Her __________________ The bump mapping on face_off's realism script for V3 is set at .03 I think (default is .01). For little test renders, .06 rendered much better, but for some reason that generates ugly scales in large final renders like this (4000 x 3335).

this picture proves the old adage that "less is more." the high contrast close up makes a dramatic statement, while her sultry expression lends the image a softer enticement. the eye that shows looks incredibly real. the only suggestion i could possibly make would be to add true reflections to the gold, to give the skin very slightly more bump, and smooth out the eyeshadow roughness. it almost looks as if the texture is stretched at that point? it's a gorgeous, gorgeous image. very inspiring.

Fabulous portrait, LD! I love the shiny lips and I'm sort of kicking myself for not realising that I could change the material setting of the pearl choker ... sighhh ha ha ;) I really do like the choker and the girl of course - beautifully put together :) Cheers Tina
