Description

Took this picture last weekend while feeding some Canadian Geese at the Memphis Botanical Gardens. I was sitting on the ground, and this guy wasn't going to accept the fact that I had just run out of food. So he came over and took a bite at my camera. Must have not been too appealing though because he didnt go for a second bite. This was taken just seconds before the big "attack".

These guys scare me!! LOL When I was just a child my mother and I were feeding some geese and yep you guessed ran out of bread and they started to bite. There were at least 20 of these guys we finally climbed on the picnic table yelling and screaming for our lives. LOL....Terrific shot...Shannon ;}

Better the camera than you getting a good pinch. They don't do a lot of damage, but the pinch can be a surprise. Excellent capture of this daring and demanding character. Bunny

Great capture! Usually they run or rather fly away when they see me approaching them. The only way I'd ever be able to get this close to one is if he's on my plate!
