A fabulous looking VUE aviation scene! A colorful work with a fabulous color contrast! Love the supersonic boom effect here! How noisy it is in my office! LOL

The stories get tangled eventually. I found a description of the Bell X-1 as being shaped like a .45 cal. bullet...???? in a book on One Hundered Years of Flight. .45 are pistol ammunition, strictly under 1114fps muzzle velocity or SUBSONIC! Yikes! the cover the little ones ears. The more common one that it is based on the .50 cal. is more plausible as it might have a muzzle velocity closer to the 4400fps of tank aqmmmunition or the 3300fps of an M-16. That though says maybe the V-2 rocket was shaped like a .50cal. and a X-1 was shaped like a V-2 rocket. Except for the design dates. This picture of the vapor cloud comes later also. In the ends our minds will be mush and we will buy french fries and use our thumbs to play video games on cell phones.

I remember meeting you with my little comment... You had just started. I was looking forward to uploading pictures this year... You just passed my count in my gallery. You are quiet the artist and I congradulate you on passing me up to date status on gallery count. I've just been too busy to build the gallery I wanted...Now I'm moving again, it doesn't look like I'll be staying up with your uploads...Looks like you just broke the "gallery barrier"

"It's been a long time, gettin' from there to here.."..;) sorry, I'll never forgive Berman and Bragga for putting the Bell X1 with that Patch Adams song...:| great modeling, and especially UVMapping, that ain't easy to get right.
