Description

Textures designed in PSP X. Modeling, composition, and rendering done in Carrara 5 Pro. Nothing super fancy, just a new design for a shuttle. I decided to get back to my roots a bit and do some cool space hardware. Here we have the Shepard class heavy attack shuttle. The name can be slightly misleading since the shuttle is used for many different functions; ranging from medical rescue tyo drop troop deployment and everything in between. The Shepard was designed as a replacement for the venerable yet very obsolete Hound class shuttle. The Shepard is manufactured under license from Marcson Industries on Earth by various companies located around the Dominion. Let me know what you think, I love to get comments. The hound can also be seen in my gallery. I will be using this model soon in a fairly complex scene I am working on so I would like feedback on it before hand.

Very cool design. I have to admit I was never too keen on the Hound you made, this is a much sleaker and better looking craft. Great job!!!

Thanks. I'm working on part of a starport now. My major hinderance is my lame PC.. I can't use all of the features of C5 that I want or it crashes when I render it.

I just loved the design of the Liberator. :) Even us Yanks have some good taste in TV Scifi. lol.. I am working on a more detailed version of this one and a couple of others. Carrara 8 gives me more options and capabilities I didn't have with 7 or 6.
