Title is not cast in stone, suggestions welcome! ...... I may often joke, I may often pretend, I may often wear a mask of subdued amusement, taken as indifference ........ but only because at some level the soul cries, cannot believe that you are blind ..... The soul feels unrecognized, lonely, needing ........needing love that is "unconditional" ... where the mind and the heart are at odds, unable to meet the standards set by you and the society you would have me believe in, indeed aspire to! How do I keep the soul safe? Why, through pretense, of course, ...... I wear that mask of subdued amusement, often mistaken as indifference to your daily subjections of cruelty! You don't hear my soul, you don't hear the call "I am real!" Beneath that pretense, beneath that mask of subdued amusement lies a bleeding heart ...... who longs for love ........ the love of dreams .......... "unconditional" and pure! (Fictional!) ........
