Description

This illustration is a rapid test. It is a comic that I'm creating for a contest of my city. I am trying to combine 3d and photos of the city so that they are integrated and give a look of classic science fiction. I like the result. I had never tried before to do this type of illustrations and I believe that I am going to use them more often.

Great pic! I like a lot rendered/real images merged together... That's great, but I would have blurred a little the 3d models in order to make them more uniform with the image... The B/W is cool too!

I think there is realy something to go about, would it be an other dimention action? or will you have to direct the crowd to include them in it?

Thanks for comments. The comic will be action 100% and have to erase the real people whoe seems to ignore what's happening. I will add scared people in 3D

Brilliant results for a test - hope to see more images! :) on a lighter note, I have to say I love the pigeon in the foreground :)

This is hot I really wanted to make a short film using this robot but alas no IK in the rig. You can see a test of blending POSER with live action here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPGOUG7xNA4 Hey did you use HDR to match the light in this image. It's pretty good. I think the previous comment about a little bit of blur was right on. I couldn't get the shadow to work the way that I wanted to either. Seeing this I think I will give it another shot. I love this image!
