El Baúl de mis Recuerdos Anoche soñé con mi baúl de recuerdos, donde dormían como yo en mi memoria, guardados con celo todos mis sueños, labrando la suave tierra de mi historia. Me levanté a revivirlos nuevamente, porque en el silencio me llamaban. Y se convirtieron en una luz brillante, como reviviendo mi camino brillaban. Y en el baúl añejo de mis recuerdos, miré las fotos de mi juventud lejana. Ahí están los pacíficos momentos del pasado, que mi presente extraña. Encontré mis lágrimas en un pañuelo. Unas flores secas en un viejo libro. Una carta firmada con miles de besos que como piedras preciosas guardé con celo. Muchas cartas de mis hijos con recuerdos. Con dibujos resplandecientes de luz y sombras. Cabellos de cada uno de ellos cuando nacieron. El corazón se enternece, cuando los nombra. Hoy he vuelto en mi baúl por el sendero: La sonrisa de mi madre, todas sus caricias. La mirada de mi padre, que era tan apuesto Mi hermana tan amada, hoy caminando por el cielo. Más arriba están los recuerdos cercanos, de los amigos que la vida hoy me atesora. Ahí están presentes, en el hoy de mi tiempo. Esperaba mi baúl, no despertarse a solas. Y me atrapó la madrugada leyendo viejas cartas de amor y de amistad. Se me fue la noche llena de bondad, gracias a mi baúl de los recuerdos. "Todos nosotros tenemos un baúl de recuerdos, pero en él, solamente guardamos los más bellos. Los malos recuerdos no conviene colocarlos en el baúl porque destruirán los más hermosos." Today I have returned in my trunk by the path: The smile of my mother, all its caresses. The look of my father, that was so handsome My so beloved sister, today walking for the sky. Further up are the nearby memories, of the friends that the life today hoards me. There they been present, in the today of my time. It expected my trunk, not to be awoke to alone.
