About me….hmmmmm... I’m Brandy.
I’m a lot of things…but, the important one’s are: wife, mother, Bebe, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and child of God. I also happen to be an artist.
Most of my artwork is fantasy and emotive type pieces, though I do throw in the odd pinup now and then for diversity’s sake. I live with my family in Central Arkansas, USA: my husband of 23 years, Ross ;our sons, Dylan 22 and Austin 20; my mother, and our beloved menagerie.
I’ve been lucky enough to have my art be featured on book covers, postcards, tattoos, and 3d art magazines and have won various awards and honors from my peers. Considering the talent of my peers, that is something I am very proud of.
Prints and merchandise featuring my work are available for purchase at DeviantArt and Etsy, Zazzle, Café Press and RedBubble. I’m usually available for commissions for Character, Fantasy and RPG portrait pieces, tattoo design, book covers, etc. My art is primarily 3D model renderings and is done with painting in photoshop, psp , etc. I also create unique handcrafted jewelry and accessories.

Besides fantasy art, my other passion is for collecting artwork featuring wildlife and American Indians. Being part Choctaw, and a passionate animal lover, both are things very dear to my heart.
I am also a passionate activist in a couple of areas. I have loved and felt a kinship with animals all my life and have rescued many…but, truly, they have each rescued me in return a 1000 times. I also advocate for the cause of Invisible Illness Awareness in general and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Dysautonomia awareness specifically. Both myself and my eldest have both, so it’s something very close to my heart that I am extremely passionate about…It’s one thing if something affects your life, but when it hurts your child, that’s another thing all together!

Not really much to critique here. The figure has an almost photographic quality to it, which is the excellent lighting, of course. You know, I can't critique if you don't make some obvious mistakes. :) Well Done.

The character is very good. What I don't like is her relationship with the background. It's not clear what it is. She just seems to be floating there but on the other hand her feet seem as if she's on the ground and she's on a strange angle regarding the rocks. Even the background alone doesn't seem consistent as there are rocks in very different angles.

quick critique: strengths: dynamic and visually effective pose, including her braid and how she holds her staff. lots of contrast between her and her background- the eye knows where to go. interesting skin tones critical analysis it looks like there's some poke through on the left calf all the misty, turbulent elements have little impact used all together, and are a bit noisy, like people shouting all at once. what she's doing seems to be the point of the image, but it's unclear what she's trying to accomplish

Impressive colors, dynamic pose. She turns while on her toes, maybe you give her a fixed stand before she turns? It is not clear where she stands and what the ground is. The Background is really good. Alltogether a well done picture.

I agree with Rutra and cobaltdream, the background is a bit messy and the picture overall doesn't tell much of a story about what she is doing or why. Its a very nice pose and character, but without a story it doesn't make as much of an impression it could if it had a story to it. And by story i mean a purpose and a goal in the picture, walking somewhere, casting a spell, running from someone etc.

That is a REALLY nice face for V4, very glamourous. Great job with the hair as well, I expect it took some fine touch to get the bangs to look that natural. The back of the calf covering is clipping through her leg a bit, and a couple of other little places, and the left toe has a pretty hard crease. Might also think about giving her something to stand on also :) And you might want to dim the light on the character a little, to help her blend a little better with the background. Really dramatic, strong pose, and I like the electric effect. Plus I've just got a thing for ponytails :) Wonderful energetic twist on the ponytail.
