Description

Miki2 again, this time with the Winter Queen wings on her back. This is using the Rebel outfit (or atleast part of it) and the Jessi2 hair. The skin shader was made using a modified version of hyperreal V3 with my own SSS, Spec, and granite maps and using the skin texture in the bump map. The only post work was bluring some of the pixalised lines.

Nice posing and expression. I like how the lighting falls on the face, but i believe that some light on the wings and maybe a bit less light on the feet would make it better. I did not even see that she had wings until after i viewed full-size. Maybe add a spotlight or two that shines very faintly on the wings.

I like this very much. Lighting and textures are superb. The pose is very good. In fact, it's barely visible she has wings. If I hadn't read it, I wouldn't have seen it, probably.

Yes, it IS rather dark, but some of that could be my moniter. It tends to show dimly lit images as VERY dark. A few VERY dim spotlights might at least provide faint illumination on the areas that are too dark to see, as reflected light keeps things from being completely dark.

I like the lighting on the upper torso/face/shoulders, however with that lighting a lot of hard work seems to be "missing". I see down to her shirt..... then a black page, then feet..... as if the feet are disembodied. It could as greywolf said be my monitor, but I am calibrated and it seems extra "black". Its a pity, because your work usually has loads of detail i feel I'm missing

I agree, a little of your work is lost cause of the black part. I mean, the shadow seems unexploited, you should add some lights to take part of the shadow (strange, isn't it? :) Otherwise, very great pic (for the upper part)

i love this image in a very personal and subjective way. i love images with single figures, simple lighting and with wings. and i love miki. the lighting on her face is just magical. your skin shader is positively wonderful. you should apply your shader knowledge to the wings. feathers need sss, too. and i do agree that it might have been better if you had manipulated the light (or lights) to illuminate her wings more than her lower legs and feet. but the oddest aspect to me is the disconnect between her top and her legs. the tank top is clear, but i can't identify much about her boots other than they seem odd with a tank top. gorgeous work. i hope to see more soon.

Beautiful, very beautiful - the face and upper torso are perfect. The only thing that would add is (already mentioned) a bit of illumination on the lower body and wings, and I actually think SSS all by itself going to do the trick. You might also try to soften the shadow from the hair against the torso just a tiny bit - is that coming from a point light right overhead? Overall the face and pose looks breathtaking, really nicely done.

A lovely image. I also had to look very closely to see the wongs. I don't know if I would have seen them apart from the fact you mentioned them :) Perhaps they are a little low?

I really like the skin texture & the focus of the light on her upper body, very dramatic. I have a hard job seeing the wings as well.

The wings are wonderfully posed, but I really had to strain to see them. Is there a way they could be slightly hilighted?

Thi8s is a lovely image, but it's very hard for me to see the wings.
