Hey and welcome! My name is Brandy and I must tell you I'm obsessed with my camera. Whether its taking pictures of myself (as I often do...their terrible lol) or making my friends pose for me, I love using my camera. I have a Canon Rebel XT and I edit with Photoshop CS2.
I'm happily married (you may come across a picture or two of our wedding day in my gallery), and have been for three years.
I've been interested in photography ever since my freshman year of high school. I am currently a photo major in my 2nd semester of college. I've been using my Canon 35mm much more because of school, I sure do miss my Rebel. It's nice to go back and re-learn everything. Nothing is more "centering" than making a print in the dark room.
I've started studying color photography. I'm such a fan of black and white, I wasn't sure if I'd like color. This class has made me appreciate the colors nature gives us, and to realize that I can get emotion out of color and not just black and white. I hope to do well and do something with my education.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have.

i love the furtive and fey look of this piece. her face looks perfectly elfin. i used to love to draw faces almost identical to how hers looks in this photograph; i think it's wonderful you have such a great model.

Nice!!!!!! Wonderful black and white and dark art style compo! With a bit manipulation and it will turn out into a movie poster or a dvd cover.. Of course a horror one :D Love the soft focus on your face and the rest are in focus.. Very well done dear and thank you for sharing your talent Have a wonderful day/night JOE

A shut ivory door traps the body casting the ebony image, sentencing it to shadows and void-less space. A key nowhere to be found, has she attempt to turn the knob of the perhaps unlocked door? Has she tried to exit? Possibly craving the security of the known, the familiar, the space she can capture and claim as her own, she dwells there - just her and her mirrored reflection. For better or worse, this is her reality and lest someone barge in from the outside, this is to her the one and only home. Great image, good to see you posting again.
