Description

Here's an old time Sunday morning TV rerun of the even older space opera serial, Flash Gordon. Used alpha planes for Flash and Dale. Used 3ds Max for their space ship. Used Vue 6I for the environment and render. Used Photoshop for the postwork. Enjoy.

how does your brain come up with this stuff? this is awesome. you blend so well. that 2d cardboard cut-out of Flash is just genius. i'd like to sit and watch you put this stuff together but i'm afraid you'll find some reason to arrest me.

This is a very creative image. Love the old t.v. effect. People don't talk much about Flash Gordon anymore. Whenever I get an obnoxious salesman on the phone at work and I don't want to give my name, I say I'm Dale Arden. No one has caught on yet. :)

Loved this show on TV when I was a kid. Can't beat Larry "Buster" Crabbe as Flash, but I was a Ming the Merciless and Captain Torch fan myself. A wonderful tribute!
