Description

Our Solar System got a whole lot smaller with the discovery of the massive derelict alien starship in a decaying orbit around Aldebaran's withered planetary system. The alien ship, nicknamed the 'Mary Celeste' after the infamous ship with no crew aboard, was estimated to be at least one million years old. No one could tell if it had been drifting through space only to fall into the gravity well of Aldebaran or if the race, nicknamed 'The Ancients' abandoned it there. The race was on though, to find the Ancients, perhaps learn their secrets--or even find them still living amongst the stars. Ship is a composite I built using my parts and DOGA parts kitbashed together, exported as DXF, them converted to LWO. Background created in MojoWorld Standard 3.1 T4V&C

A large-scaled spaceship is very attractive. I feel story from a scene.

Great scene, great story. I would have been a bit afraid to meet somebody who'd abandon something like that, though... I love it.

This is very cool (of course, also extremely hot). Drifting in space for a million years would be possible, however, barring a direct collision with a major object, the vehicle would still take a beating from all of the small stuff that is whizzing around deep space. Our two deep space probes may well last 100s of thousands of years, small as they are. In fact, if you care to check, they are just entering the edge of what is considered the Solar System and are about to enter interstellar space - both Voyagers are still transmitting.

Fantastic design, looks just like it's been around the block a few times.
